	About kinyki This is driving me insane. CS keeps eating all the apostrophes when I hit submit, and random letters. I am looking for a serious, long-term relationship that involves ds outside the bedroom as well as in it. I enjoy DIY projects, walking, and going to the gym, and I read obsessively. I am very smart, and you should be too. Words rock my world, and I can be playful as well as serious. I have an oddball sense of humor, and enjoy tv shows and movies from all over the world. I am willing to relocate for a very excellent match. I have lived in Europe, and I strongly prefer to do so again. (No, I am not looking for financial support). People I get along with best are more often cat people than dog people, and use proper grammar, spelling and capitalization. I especially like readers and people who work on interesting projects in their personal time, although I like people who are not isolated and have and maintain friendships and a sense of community. I prefer people with a liberal viewpoint, but people who actually think about what that means, rather than parroting a party line to feel good or fit in. I am ively attractive, though of course I may not be everyones cup of tea, and I lift weights at least four times a week. I love walking with people, but prefer to hit the gym alone, so I can concentrate. I view my body as hackable. If someone can hold it together for a few emails Im happy to exchange pictures or to talk on the phone. As for BDSM, I am not going to jump into something with just anyone, but when I meet the right person, I want something that does NOT involve safewords. I am not interested in SSC, although I have to know and trust a person before I will go there. I have very strong opinions and am not afraid to voice them, although I want to please someone, though it must be someone who appreciates the core of who I am already. I am also a pretty intense person--it would take someone strong to top me, and I am looking for someone who is just that badass. A few of my non-bdsm interests molecular gastronomy, health, language learning, and stories, in the of books or podcasts. Projects Ive considered recently are making a book scanning cradle, and making a leather cover for my ereader. Recently completed projects include making a hackintosh, replacing my ac condenser, and making a heavy leather belt. For vacation this year there was that rather odd sailing trip... The down side? Plenty of time for that later! Theres a limit to what I will say on the internet. Happy to talk about things in depth if someone thinks the rest of this is interesting. IMPORTANT NOTE If you have no profile text, or you are older than 55 or younger than 30, your email goes straight into the spam bucket because CS has a wonderful, wonderful thing called a filter. I never see those emails. I usually do not respond to emails if someone has naked pictures in their ad. That just seems...unwise. And I like wisdom in a person. Also, I do not respond to people unless I am approached with respect. This means it will not avail you to email me about what you would like to do to me. Please treat me like a person first. I do not engage with strangers who try to treat me like an . I am in fact, very submissive, but I do not just give it up for anyone. I am looking for a good match. I hope you are too. (Oh god, rewriting this entire thing without punctuation was brutal, but CS has stripped out the apostrophes and colons the last five times I tried to rewrite this. Hope it looks ok now.)

Please don't email me talking about how "no one on here is real" or "have you met anyone real?" or the ever-popular "this site is full of fakers."

Yeah, I get it. Dating is hard and often disappointing. People fade, flake, and act nutty sometimes. But I'm not your therapist, your mom, or your best buddy. THOSE are the people to complain to about dating, not someone you're trying to attract.

When we try to attract people, we spiff up and put on our best faces. Or at least if we're wise, we do. That doesn't guarantee success, but it does make interactions a lot more fun, even if they don't turn into a date.

And there are neat folks out there. I've personally talked to a handful, and even briefly dated one that I met right here. :)

I'm single again, but I haven't given up hope.

Study break!

I've been looking at a look of profiles lately and thinking about the kinds of pictures that are well done and the categories of pictures that are a bad idea. But the thing is, every rule has exceptions.

In general I don't like to see pictures of isolated body parts of someone I don't know. I'll give a non-CM example for an exception to this that I stumbled onto yesterday.

http://wholesexlife.com/2013/02/blood-life-sex/ I appreciated these pictures for several reasons: One, because the piece of writing that accompanied them was nice, and gave me a viewpoint into something that although not my kink, caught my interest. The second is that the photos were playful, and I felt like they actually showed an attractive glimpse into the personality of both parties.

It's something to keep in mind when taking profile photos.

Please don't "invite to friends" before you've emailed me, and preferably not before we've exchanged a few emails. Enthusiasm is a lovely to see, but prudence is just as lovely.
