More than excited about the potential Wheel of Time books being made into a series. I started reading them in my teens and 16 years later theyre still my favourite books. Lord of Chaos and The Shadow Rising in particular. Honourable mentions also go to the LotR, The Tears of Artamon, anything by Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett and Robert Rankin, some Trudi Canavan stuff (I wish her characters would stop chuckling though), Mitch Albom, and a few of the classics (Brideshead Revisited is probably the best book Ive read set in the real world). The Commonwealth Saga is good for anyone into Sci-Fi imo.
Physics gets me giddy as well. Despite being terrible at maths, I do love a good Higgs Boson. I love Quora and Wikipedia for educating me on topics ranging from Henry V to squirrels. |
