Let's see- I'm pretty much a total newbie when it comes to BDSM, but am looking to learn more about it firsthand. I've been introduced to it online (i.e., cybering), but nothing in-person. What I do know so far is that I'm looking for something casual, with friendship outside of scenes being the most important part.

Which side of being dom/sub I end up on pretty much depends on my mood, though I tend towards being subbish much more often. For my limits, consider anything involving pain or risk (more than being tied up, anyway!) as a soft limit. Hard limits would be any permanent or semi-permanent body mods (piercing, tatoos, scars), and anything like scat or watersports.

As for the non-BDSM parts of me: I'm working on getting into college this fall, and am aiming for a B.S. in Digital Entertainment and Games Design, up in Portland. Needless to say, I self-label myself as a geek, but take pride in it. I'm rather shy / quiet in person, especially in groups, but open up more once I get to know people. Or online, as well.

Hobbies: Gaming (Obviously!), mostly focused on role-playing; reading (Fiction, most any genre, though preferring sci-fi,); Anime/Manga (Just digging myself deeper, aren't I?); and programming. No objections to going around and seeing sights or to social events, so long as it's with good company.
