I'll be blunt, most people on this site probably won't like me. I am NOT abusive/cruel/hateful. I am NOT an egotistical, self-important prick who needs sycophants to raise my self-image. I am NOT looking for subs who top from the bottom, or who think being submissive means being unthinking robot. If you are looking for any of these things, I'd suggest you save us both some time and look elsewhere. There are plenty here who cater to those whims.
What I AM is a man who's been part of the scene in some form for ten years. I have experienced some truly remarkable relationships in that time, and have seen how wonderful D/s can be when those involved share a bond of trust. I value intelligence and wit above all else, and beyond that, the desire to continually learn and grow. I do not base my relationships off of sex; pleasure plays a role of course, but it is not the primary focus, at least to me. A Dom must play many roles: caring supporter, assertive disciplinarian, protector, teacher, and so on. One cannot simply physically or verbally push another around and call themselves a dominant.
