About kharisym
I'm a college student going to VWCC for the first leg of a PhD in computer science. I tend to be a rather dichotomous individual with some aspects of my life being focused and driven (college) while others tend to be scattered everywhere. I have several hobbies- target shooting, hiking, camping, board games, role play, intellectual conversation, and the furry fandom, as well as many others. I tend to pick up hobbies and drop them like candy.
I'm very interested in BDSM and started getting involved in it while living in Texas. I've since been in and out of the community sporadically between other aspects of my life, and unfortuantely have not given myself enough time in it to truly explore my interests and desires. Now that I've established my priorities in life and understand my path, I hope to make BDSM a much larger part of myself than it has in the past. Some of my interests include bondage, spanking, paddling, S/m play such as wax, and situational scenes like outdoors, bondage under clothing, etc. Something I really enjoy doing is using bondage as an artform for composing photos. I'm a closet nudist with a good bit of distaste for wearing clothes- if given the option I would rather shed the fabric than keep it.
I own a sharpei/german shephard/husky mix named Checkers. I snagged him from a shelter in xmas of '08 and the guy's a giant bundle of love. I'm not a big tv fan, and it's a good bet I haven't turned one on in months. Most of my entertainment comes from the internet- streaming media or more interactive things, though I'm not a huge computer gamer.
I'm an atheist and proud of it, though it's not something I bring up unless it becomes a significant matter in the discussion. My morality is largely humanistic, though I feel that term is too ambiguous to use as a title for myself. I'm also a transhumanist, and these philosophies have dramatically influenced how I think and live.
I'm a bit shy, though I'm very honest about myself. I consider my shyness to be one of my greater personality defects and am always working to overcome it. Don't be afraid to be direct with me, I respect that much more than beating around the bush. I also have no shame, so feel free to ask or say whatever you wish to me.
I dislike people who are perpetually needy, I understand if you need to talk about problems, but always having an issue is tiresome. I also have a strong aversion to smokers and will not kiss them. Unless you're willing to give up cigarettes, there's no point in trying to date me. |
