I've been involved as a dominant male for some time now, but have never stepped out into the community. I'm looking to become more involved and to find out more about those around me who are a part of the BDSM community.

Alright, a bit more about myself...

I'm a 22 year old student. I'm currently studying for my Bachelor's in two different fields. I also work part time to cover my bills.

I'm looking for a good sub/slave female. Rather than meeting girls and then checking to see if they're into it, I've decided to start searching the other way around. I'm open to long distance fun, but would rather meet somebody nearby.

That doesn't mean, however, that I want to hop into the bedroom or put on my leather chaps ten seconds after we've first spoken. Build a rapport, let me know what I'm getting into, all that jazz. What does that mean? It means: Friends first. We don't have to talk just about sunshine and puppies, by all means, bring up sex.

Just don't count on a request to meet up and play before I know you. I'm protective of my BDSM identity.

It's almost here!

In just over 24 hours I will be packing up a 15 passenger van, along with my excellent co-leader Alex, and venturing off into Oklahoma with 20 of our peers and their luggage. Our mission? To spend a week in the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma and learn about Native American History & Issues while giving back to their community!

It's been a long, long process. For the last ten months my partner and I have toiled away to make sure this trip happens and goes off without a hitch, and I've been glad to be paired with the leader who best demonstrates a mix of quality and experience. Frankly, I would probably have lost it over the last month without her.

It's insane how much momentum everything has picked up since Valentine's Day. So many issues springing up, so many problems to take care of, so many new participants to contact as the old drop from the trip. And I don't think there's a current participant I'm not stoked to get to know better coming along.

Is the 13 hour drive--with only minimal breaks--going to be absolute hell? Oh, you bet it is. By the time we cross into Oklahoma I can imagine having to stop for pep pills every 15 minutes. My last drive to Oklahoma was hell, and that was driving my Honda. So much easier than a van.

I doubt if anybody is really reading this, but if you are, and you haven't given service or philanthropy a try, please do. I feel so fulfilled for having finally finished everything and getting a chance to take a deep breath before plunging into this trip!

You would think leading 20 college students into Oklahoma to complete a week of religiously unaffiliated service and cultural learning would be easy!

My immortal, my divine,
Full-lit moon on cloudy night,
Only being I'd dare enshrine
And glorify in your moonlight;

Few, if any, could compare,
And even those best suited
Are only this by what you share.
Without you they are muted.

Oh how I pray upon those stars,
Protective friends of yours up high.
For even in sight you're too far;
I'm in silence but for my sigh.

And how could I restrain myself
To suffocate my growing grief?
I'd sooner trade my own good health
For just a moment, however brief.

And so I do pray when it's dark
To be delivered, and so soon,
To be the twilight meadowlark,
To fly me to the moon.
