Where to start...where to start. How about the basics? I am 49 years old. I am male. I am dominant. I guess that is basic enough.
Now what do I believe...
Being a dominant has nothing in common with being domineering, in fact one is a contradiction of the other. Anyone can intimidate with gruff manners and abruptness. This is not dominance. Creating in someone the desire to obey requires a subtle seduction, it is achieved by being both confident in yourself and elegant in your manner.
A respectful dominant does not rule arbitrary, based on choice or that of a personal whim. A dominant does not posses an unbridled supremacy or limitless power. The dominant gentleman posses only the power in which his submissive has granted to him and she should have to authority to revoke this power at anytime for any reason.
The dominant gentleman is a chivalrous, sensitive, honorable, well mannered man. It’s not about what he can get. It’s about what he can give.
Mixing dominance with gentlemanly good manners and elegance is a winning combination. I didn't choose to be a Gentleman Dom any more than I chose to be male. I will say though that given a choice I would much rather be this way than any other.
