I am a dominant but that is not how I see myself, I am many things besides. I am a student, an artist, a poet, a brother, a son, a friend, a counselor, a dreamer, a schemer, a researcher, a tutor, a perfectionist, a philosopher, a taxpayer, a comedian, a storyteller, a cyclist, a martial artist, a gentleman, an archer, a camper, a hiker, a renaissance man, a collector, a traveler and an intuitive masseur.

This lifestyle is not a choice for me--this is simply how I feel I need to live. I don't know why possessing a woman's mind and body is as important a possessing her heart and frankly I've stopped trying to understand it. There is something in the rush of passion when a woman stares into the intensity of my eyes and is excited by the fear of realizing my higher brain functions are gone as two claw-like hands pin her to the floor because the bedroom seems to far away. There is something disarming in her surrender that allows me to relax the rein I keep on myself and trust her with my entirety. Finally, there are the trappings and simple pleasures of being obeyed, having a woman's complete attention and the metaphoric beauty of collars, bindings and marks.

The woman I am seeking is preferably 35 or under and an intelligent, caring submissive. Someone who is a challenge intellectually, a joy emotionally and just as pleased by my side as she is kneeling at my feet. She is worldly, artistic, intelligent and knowledgeable or is striving to become so. Whether she views herself as a submissive or a slave is not as important to me as being able to enjoy everyday life together.

In addition to the lifestyle, she enjoys long leashed walks in the woods, art, museums and theatre. She believes in obedience, honesty and patience. Her virtues are her personal strength, a disarming vulnerability and a desire for a simpler way of life. She understands that there is a time and place for everything; that sometimes the housework and the homework has to be put off for a few hours to become a pair of intertwined nerve endings and the resulting rug burns be damned.

Lastly, she must be able to fall asleep in my arms. At the end of the day, easy or hard, I want to be able to feel the effect I have on her and draw strength from it. There are times when I am either burning my candle at both ends or spinning my wheels, without much in-between. A shoulder massage, a kiss goodnight and a softly sleeping woman is what I need for a good night's rest.
