It's not about all the "activities", is it?
What better than a sense of humor, a fun-filled heart, for wise-cracking, jokes, and that certain magic in the air?
What about good ol' fashioned "get-along"? You know, where things get done smoothly, those little things in life that take up time in the day, from a leaky faucet to groceries needing to get in, to all those just... ordinary things. When there is that harmony, that "fit", they're not obstacles but things that simply get handled, and there also with that fit there's warmth in the air and a bit of sparkle all around the edges.
One can certainly enjoy being swept up into things - and we all have, but I think many of us have had friends and partners in the past and discovered it sometimes proved to be the proverbial trainwreck outside of those peak moments. It's fair to say too any of us might wince a little when glancing at some of those old T-shirts in the drawer of life's experiences, but such is Life and what you sometimes get when you undertake living it.
It's nice to be pleasing, it is. For some it is nice to hold and express leadership - especially if there is the talent, wisdom, and natural predilection at the helm. It is a gift, even a blessing as the choices in navigating through life present themselves, all with consequences both great and small.
It's satisfying to trust and perhaps moreso to shoulder trustworthiness in one's self, and to do so routinely without qualm and relish that certain quiet sobriety and satisfaction it brings.
That being said, isn't there just that unbelievable electricity in the air when it all takes?
