I was just musing whether or not being kinky was a blessing  or a curse.  99% of the time it is definitely a blessing, but it is so hard to find people who are like-minded, so that is the curse. My kinks are driven by basic primal urges but where does the sub/Dom thing come from?  In vanilla life I would be appalled by anyone who wanted to have control over me, but in my kinky life I love it.  A bizarre paradox!  In my experience most of the Dommes and subs I have met in the scene are fantastic people. Is this a coincidence or is it possible that the vast majority of the population harbour fantasies outside the norm, but most don't have the courage to realise their dream? I think people that have come to terms with their kinks are more open-minded, less prejudiced and well-balanced personalities.  I don't nick women's underwear off clothes lines, I go out and buy my own!
