Some more about me…by day, I’m finishing my last year of professional school. It keeps me fairly busy, but I like to think I still find time to have more fun than I should. I try to spend it stimulating my mind and body equally. Most days my physical activity is limited to the gym or jiu jitsu, though I take any chance I can get to hike, board, boat or dance the night away.
The less active part of me is perfectly happy to sit on the couch and enjoy a book, a movie or TV. I’m quite partial to sci-fi and psychological thrillers (the greater the mind-fuck quotient, the better.) A respective recommendation for each:

More than anything, I’m a sucker for good conversation; I can talk for hours about anything and everything. What I value most in conversation is curiosity, attention, and open-mindedness (read: actually open to having your mind changed.)
As for kink, it’s probably much easier to say what I don’t like than what I do. But then I’d be left with almost nothing to say. I’ve truly been fortunate to have mostly amazing experiences thus far. My fetish list is far from exhaustive and contains just a small portion of what I enjoy. For me, it’s a way to bring to the surface what’s hiding underneath, the connection we crave.
I can safely say that I’ve never had a type, but I certainly know what I like when I see it. I’m not looking for anything in particular at the moment, but I’m a big believer in letting relationships develop organically. What is important to me is being with someone who challenges you, who allows you to discover more about yourself and expands your mind.
I’ll end with a quote from one of my favorite fellow humans, Neil deGrasse Tyson. I despise unoriginality, but I doubt I could ever say it better. At my best, this is how I hope to live my life:
