Hello! My friends call me Jon, but you may call me whatever you like. I went to school for physics and engineering, but by the time I got my degrees I knew my future wasn't going to be in the lab. I work in high end fashion, but don't expect me to find me dressed like Don Draper or someone off of the Sartorialist. (The prices! $300-$500 selvedge denim jeans, no thanks. Wranglers are jeans enough for me!)
I love the theater. I used to do sound design for the shows while in school, but there just isn't enough time right now. One day I'll get back to it. I did see "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" recently. (It lives up to the hype!)
I'm going to sound like such a geek right now (and I sounded so cool with the Physics/Engineering education, right?), but I'll converse about philosophy all day if I've got the right sparing partner. (I aspire to Singer's ideals, and consistently find myself wanting. / Don't talk to me about Nietzsche, I have no use for him.)
My passion, heretofore unmentioned, is baseball. Go Yankees, and thank you, Captain. I know most of the world finds it intolerable, so I won't go on about it.
And to the kink...
I'm into, or open to exploring, almost everything I've heard of, but this doesn't seem like the correct medium for negotiating limits. If you're interested, let me know, let's have a conversation or two, and I'm sure we'll get around to that in the end. I have put up a few of the things I'm into (by no means an exhaustive list) on the side in case you really can't wait to find out. ;)
I've been both a dom and a sub, with both men and women, beginning in high school. I know what I'm getting into on either end of the spectrum, and I know enough to know that anyone talking about a "real sub/slave" or a "true dominant" is an asshole. Honesty, communication, and well-earned trust are the ingredients to a happy D/s relationship.
Oh, not into financial domination. If you want control of my bank account, you had better put a ring on this finger~ =P
