- I am a work in progress. A curious mix of independent, tough tomboy and shy unsure girlie girl. I am equally happy hanging out in a sports bar watching football or spending the day at the mall for some retail therapy. While I grew up as “one of the boys” and am quite comfortable in that role, I have found as I age, that I’d like more time and opportunity to explore a more feminine, softer side. I recently found out I was born in the Chinese year of the Dog. I am also a Leo…which makes me a Cat-Dog so any contradiction in personality is inherent in who I am. I blame fate :D
- I’m very much a people watcher and quite shy (don’t listen to those loud denials from the peanut gallery) when meeting new people. While I will probably be very quiet when first introduced to someone, once I get to know them, I’ve been told I never shut up. I love love love a good conversation; be it a chat about daily activities or a heated debate about opposing viewpoints. I love meeting people who have something to say or who can make me stop and rethink an opinion I may have had about something
- I’m an independent hardworking girl who has recently taken the giant and scary step of quitting my full-time job and going back to school full time to pursue my dream career. While I have a plan and a goal to get there, it’s still a step that terrifies me; but what’s life without a little fear and risk, right?
- Family and friends are such an important part of my life. I am fortunate to be surrounded by a fantastic mix of open-minded fascinating people who challenge me to be better. Each and every one of them brings something important and di. I consider myself a social introvert. I need the energy of being surrounding by people, yet also need moments of silence alone to reflect.
Life is all about the story you get to tell after. Each day is an opportunity to experience something new, something wonderful.
