I like to keep things as simple and uncomplicated as possible. My ‘approach’ to communicating with a female is in my profile. As I said, no sense making it any more complicated than it needs to be. There’s a fair amount of information prior to describing my ‘approach’. If you don’t have the time to read the entire profile, you certainly don’t have the time to actually get to know me.

After viewing a number of profiles, I seem to have a couple of strange fetishes that you should know about: I use clothespins to hang out my laundry, and binder clips to keep my paperwork together.
Please, no fakes. It's so obvious, it's pathetic.
Also, no 'posers'. Don't try to be someone/something that you're not. Your desire to be controlled/submissive needs to come 'naturally' to you, it needs to be innate to you.
It doesn't need to be 24/7, although that's a definite option if you want. The concept of collaring a female is very appealing to me, whether it's 24/7 or not.
Obviously, I have a dominant personality, so I need my female to be obedient and submissive, and one who appreciates a man that knows how to dominate and control certain aspects, if not all aspects, of the relationship. I like to take charge and tell my female what to do, and I like to get 'physical and forceful' during sex. If you have any masochistic tendencies,I can accommodate mild to extreme. Just depends on your desires and limits?
My expectations also extend into how my female dresses in public, and her interactions with others. In public, I want my female to be quiet and conservative. My control is very subtle, but you'll know exactly what I expect from you in any given situation. You'll come to understand that a certain 'look' from me will be sufficient for you to know that I disapprove of something, and I will deal with it accordingly at the proper time.
I very much respect intellectual individuality, and I find it very appealing, but I do have my specific wants and expectations. Obviously, however, in a D/s relationship, I do have the 'final' say. Otherwise, I've got a very laid-back and reserved personality. It's just the difference between my private self with my female, and my own public self.
I want my respectable lady in public and in the presence of others, and my submissive/obedient whore at home and in private.
You need to understand the distinction between being 'a whore', and being 'my whore'. Two very different concepts. If this doesn't make sense to you, then you don't understand the dynamic that I'm looking for in a partner. No sense reading any further.
I'm very possessive and protective of my female. If you're bisexual or bicurious, that's OK with me. Had that before. My personality just doesn't blend well with another male, or mixed group activities. Tried it once with a female and her boyfriend at her request, and I just couldn't do it. Kissed her on the forehead, wished her good luck, and left.
Age is of no concern to me. Younger or older, it's not the age, it's the mileage.
But, body type is important to me. Thin/slender, athletic, or an acceptable 'average' would describe your physical appearance. The 'few extra pounds' or 'BBW' doesn't appeal to me.
As I said, I also expect a certain level of intellect. In addition to the physical aspect of a relationship, I like to have good conversation with the female I spend my time with. The mind also needs stimulated. The psychological/intellectual aspect of a D/s relationship pretty much determines and influences the physical aspect.
I like to keep things as simple as possible, so my approach to this is to exchange some information through e-mail and phone conversation, and then meet if there's enough mutual interest. I don't cyber, chat, nor text. I'm not good at those activities, so I don't engage in them. No need to make it any more complicated than it needs to be.
I don't view distance as a permanent barrier. Just temporary. I encourage an extended visit to determine if we're compatible. If things click, the distance issue will be resolved as soon as possible. Are you looking for the right person, or are you looking for someone convenient? You could just stay, or return. I'll take care of any relocation expenses after you arrive.
