Hiya, I'm dahlia, a submissive in the lifestyle for 20 something years. I'm also married to another beautiful (and submissive) woman. We are currently not looking as a couple, although that has worked before and is a possibility in the future. We don't seem to sync up being single at the same time. We met 17 years ago through a local munch, and after her swearing that we'd never make it as two subbies together, we fell and love and couldn't be happier. Well, in a case of having your cake and eating it too, I guess we could be happier, which is why 9-ish years ago we decided to open ourselves up to secondary D/s relationships, and have made some amazing connections over the years.
I have listed myself as female because...well, as far as the world is concerned, that's what I am. In all fairness to the community though, it's different here. I'm not trying to trick anyone, and I am not cis female, I officially and legally transitioned to female. It's just not something I want to carry with me for the rest of my life.
I'm very much into bondage (for a number of reasons) and have an intense love of rope. Impact play has it's place for sure, but I really love the power and energy exchange that exists in an intense, dynamic, and creative D/s relationship. I suppose I have a bit of a stocking/pantyhose fetish too, and it would be fun to find someone into that as well. I'm not just looking for play or casual sex though, quite the opposite. I'm looking for a connection, and someone who wants to meet for dinners and dates as I love exploring the whole package (and subtle reminders in public is hot anyway). It's important to remember that this is a secondary relationship for me, and that my family is my primary responsibility. Only looking to add positivity to my/our lives, not negativity or drama.
I've had a number of people ask what I'm looking for, and I realized while I know in my head, I may not have expressed it clearly in writing:
I'm looking for a meaningful and intense D/s relationship with a Dominant close to my age or a little older. Someone who is chivalrous, professional, into the arts, and enjoys activities beyond kink. Someone who loves their girl in bondage more often than not, and who always finds a way to remind you of your place and how special you are in their life. I'm not so short sighted to be limited to this outline, but maybe it answers some of the questions before the first message.
It's funny, I see a lot of complaints about meeting someone on this site, but after being involved in local and nearby communities, posting on other Fetish sites, two of my most meaningful D/s relationships have originated here. It's with that glimmer of optimism that I'm opening up my account again.
