OK, where do I put getting spanked over a kayak on a deserted beach, under kink or 'niller interests? What are your playful thoughts and giddy fantasies? There's a HUGE world out there to explore and travel. What's on your "Bucket List"? As a cold-weather wuss (snowbird), I need to spend time south of the 27th parallel in winter where the only 'white stuff' encountered is the salt rimming a margarita glass under palm trees overlooking warm turquoise waters. Currently home-based in southern Jersey and spend cold months (Oct thru May) in sw Florida, but not cemented anywhere - a lot of latitude there (pun - laugh), although I do require salt water environments frequently. Widowed, retired, and unencumbered - no children, no pets, no plants --- I can pack up and traipse off to PNG or Carriacou at a moment's notice. No marrieds, couples, or in a relationship. I don't want "to serve", be "trained", or "owned"; not bi, poly, or switch, nor should you be. I don't fair well with "Daddy" types. Age preference is +/- 8 yrs - my choice, please respect. Not looking for a "play buddy" or cyber.

Had a great time for a few weeks in TX, LA, and AL. Snorkeling in TX was eh, possibly because of Ida, but Dauphin Island in AL two weeks later was very clear. Kayaked out to an oil rig - they are HUGE! Made a few new friends and met lots of nice kayakers and people along the way.

On the drive down I found out Houston is TERRIFYING to drive through - and that was at 8:30 at night!!! I came back via Galveston and the coastal route to avoid it.? My drive home can be classified as the year I spent getting through and past Atlanta - even at 2:30 in the afternoon the traffic was snail's pace. But I did have a nice dinner with an old kayaking gf who lives near Lake Lanier before continuing home.?

Now for a couple of days of unpacking, putting stuff away, and wash - ugh.

Yeah Texas - warm air and warm water! Attending the Paddlefest in Corpus Christi this weekend, then taking two weeks or more to meander my way along the Gulf coast and doing some hiking, beachcombing, and paddling wherever it looks inviting. Then up the inside route on the way home so I can visit an old friend who got married and moved just outside Chattanooga. Life is good ... would be much better if I had someone to do all this exploring with, of course :)

Had a hellacious summer with manuscript prep and an accident, but back into life. Trying to eek out as much kayaking and surfskiing with this decent weather up here before it gets too cold.

Heading to Texas in Nov for a few weeks to do a paddlefest (the "other" kind of paddling - lol - kayaking & surfskiing) in Corpus Christi and then meander my way back north, stopping off and paddling wherever it looks interesting.

Did a 14-mile paddle on a surfski today from Pine Island to the southern tip of Cayo Costa out into the Gulf for a bit with two kayak buds visiting from the north. We had a total BLAST ... such a wonderful day and perfect weather. Looking at my Bucket List, I think I'll plan a kayak/snorkeling trip to Palau for the coming year.

Just got back from a week of kayak-camping in the 10,000 Island area of sw Florida with a bunch of kayak buds. Watched dolphin feeding so close to shore we could almost touch them. Warm days and cool nights - perfect. Saw a lot of wildlife, explored a lot of islands and little mangrove tunnels. Life is grande!

Looking for someone special on the net has its pluses and minuses.? The plus side, of course, is that there could be some right down the street or in another state who could be perfect for you, but you'd never know about them were it not for cyberspace.? The downside is that it's such an easy medium for fakers.?????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Generic non-specifics, like "I like the outdoors", could mean anything from an occasioanl barbecue to cliff-diving. Does anyone give any specifics?
