It's so sad to come on here and see profiles talking about how hard it is to find a good (fill in the blank). When I read those kind I think "how dedicated are you to this lifestyle?" I didn't wake up one morning and decide to be a Dom, nor do I think it's right for everyone, but I am one and I am proud of it. My household will be safe, secure, and positive, and it will always be a place where BDsm and Vanilla friends can come without worry. It is a place of peace.
What does this mean for those on here? It simply means that my personal belief is that there is no one right answer on how to be in this lifestyle, but in my eyes, it's about patience and growth.
About myself: I am a Dom who is looking for 24/7 tpe. That doesn't mean on day one I will bark orders and expect you to kneel on first meeting. What I want is to get to know you, to be friends, and to embrace what is unique about you. Here's a revelation for some in this lifestyle: there is not a perfect Dom or sub initially. You may turn out to be perfect for me, but if you were that on first meeting, then there would be no need for training in this lifestyle. We can always do better, myself included.
What I expect from you: At first, I expect manners. That's it. There is an initial amount of respect that I require which I think is just a bit more than common courtesy. After we get to know each other, I will give my preferences and see if you are willing to GIVE (the key to this lifestyle) me those things I need over time. I know I am willing to give you those things you need.
