Ever try to analyze the lies? Ever try to decipher what their origins might be? What makes someone think that such a story might be more palatable than the truth? When often the truth, unknowingly known, would be but a small discomfort ... and the lies, like a knife in the gut, hurt more than might ever be suspected. And the little white lie, told to save us from the pain, in the end leaves us writhing in agony on the end of that little white dagger.

I have had a kind of down day, and in reflecting on relationships, both actual and attempted, I have to wonder if women really know what they want. They all say they want the good guy, honest, caring, sincere, considerate etc ... then they either choose the opposite or pursue the opposite when they find the good guy type.  And this is true even in the bdsm world. Women just seem to want abuse, regardless of what they say. They can't stand prosperity. Treat them like shit and they are ... well not happy, but happy to bitch about it. Content. Sigh, the saying "good guys never win" may not be totally true, but seems based on fact.

This is not about, nor directed toward the special lady whom I am currently seeing. She has always been honest and straightforward about where we stand with each other, and about her issues. TBear, whatever else happens as you work your way through the sadness and issues that you just never deserved, I will always care about you. You brought me smiles when I most needed them.
