| Well I'm not quite certain where to start. I'm a recent DC transplant, having just graduated and returned from Pittsburgh PA, with a degree in Electrical Engineering and no job to apply it to as of yet. Hopefully the myriad government organizations here will provide some opportunity in the future, though at the moment I've taken to relaxing a bit, while taking time to explore the city as well as hobbies I never really had time to pursue.
I suppose that is what brought me to this site in the first place, at least indirectly. This site was suggested to me from a member of another online community, after I had expressed an interest in exploring BDSM and alternative lifestyles. Though I've had a fair share of amateur experience in the past, it could hardly be called anything more than the blind leading the blind, and thus, I've come to crave something without fully understanding what it is. On the other hand, I have started to get good idea of my own nature, at least as far as the sensual is concerned. I've always found particular appeal in being in a position of power, controlling, and forceful with my partners. Yet I am also often socially introverted, quiet, perhaps even shy, which might conflict with the earlier mentioned dominant interests. So I've been hesitant to really explore any sort of BDSM or fetish community, particularly when I got the feeling that younger men that aligned themselves as more dominant were generally unwelcome or at least unrepresented in these sorts of groups.
However, as I am at a new stage in life, and looking to build new social connections as well as explore some more particular interests, I thought that there would not be much harm in putting up a profile here and seeing what I could find out from other members. I appreciate any sort of constructive advice, as well as conversation from anyone who may found my profile at all interesting.
