Inari's legend speaks to me in that manner, and I use it to describe my mantras and myself in general.

I am a pet, kinda... I am a toy... maybe... A friend? Sure... but... more likely, you may think of me as a familiar.

I am here to serve, to be a companion, one that you can pack up and travel with. I am to watch your back, as well as ride your shoulder, I am to cook your meals, but still get a pat on the head instead of a place at the table. I am one who gives you a massage, who cleans your home, who takes care of your undesired chores, but only asks for 'pretty shinnies', never money, movement, love or lust. I am here to be a cat to a witch, a bat to a vamp, an imp to a demon, a Fox... to a Vixen or Vice.

Why?

Inari (稲荷, Inari also Oinari) is the kami (spirit) of fertility, rice, agriculture, Foxes, industry, and worldly success. Inari is represented as male, female, or androgynous, is sometimes conceived of as a collective of three or five individual spirits. Inari's foxes, or kitsune, are pure white and act as messengers. Seen as a trickster as well as a saint, Inari is both a helpful hand, and a trial of will and patience.

Well now that the mythological history lesson is over... something a bit more personal...

I am a rather tall, blonde shaggy hair, snow white skinned, bi-polar boy; I am in favor of pro-choice, I love to cook, but I'm also lazy without motivation or orders. I am idea orientated, and strive to make other's lives better, and most importantly, I strive to see technology flourish and growth continue in everything and everyone. This should give you an idea as to who this fox is.
