About ignotus
I am fairly new to D/s; I'm looking for a sub with whom I can learn and experiment.
I am not someone who tries to be intensely "dominant" every second of the day (unlike many people in the lifestyle—or so it seems, anyway), and I'm a big believer in genuineness. Furthermore, I will not pretend to believe a relationship could magically start before meeting in person or that it's a good idea to jump right into sex (unless, of course, the relationship is purely physical). I must meet you in person, and I think it's completely commendable for you to feel the same way—caution benefits everyone in the end.
I like girls who have senses of humor, carry themselves well, and can engage me in intelligent conversation. I need partners I can actually respect and care for outside the bedroom, and I prefer real, lasting relationships. I'm a generally nice guy, and can definitely carry on a "normal" relationship with passion.
You must be attractive, intelligent, and—most importantly—compatible; we must be at least familiar with each other before moving into any kind of arrangement, and I have no reservations about stopping things immediately if I don't think you're a good fit. You don't need to live it 24/7, but when you're with me I don't want any bullshit games.
More about me: I graduated as a philosophy (among other things) student from an Ivy League school, with interests in medicine, biology, social policy, and computer science. I am extremely tech-savvy, hold very liberal political views, and am familiar enough in enough fields such that I can usually discuss matters at at least a basic level with specialists. While I have had less and less time for athletics over the past few years, I have experience with martial arts, fencing, swimming, and a number of other sports. I enjoy good video games, books, films, absurd humor, food, and craft beer.
I also enjoy romantic candlelit dinners and long walks on the beach. Only half-kidding.
