Quick scam busting tips
First forget being clever and tripping them up with questions, if they are a real person you risk pushing them away so just do the following and they will never know you checked them out.
Always Google someone you don't know and if you can get the IP address from the IM profile do the same. E.g. nikkypaisley, from barking or maybe not.
If scam busters come up, then you know.
If nothing comes up, its a bad thing also because most people will have some digital trace. But this is an alarm bell not proof, so start to tread carefully.
So my next trick of this gig and by sure the fastest way to know who your dealing with:
