I thought I would add the following to save the time of both myself and those considering messaging me.
- First, thank you for your interest. I've already met quite a few interesting and intelligent men (and a couple women).
- I am seeking a relationship. Not fun and games (though I enjoy both) but an actual working relationship.
- Yes, I do believe it is quite possible to have a relationship without sex. Ask my good friends. :) This does not mean denial of all physical contact and sensuality.
- Would you ask me to marry you after a couple of days and a dozen messages? I take my submission just as seriously. I have people I can play with if I choose. I'm seeking something more substantial.
- I am a polite person. Unless you are completely vulgar and/ or rude, I will answer nicely. This is not a sign of my acceptance. This is basic manners. I will also let you know if I do not feel we will suit. Your rude reply will simply confirm what I felt in the first place.
- I have thought about it and realize that a long distance or online relationship would not work for me. I do need a minimal amount of physical and face to face contact to keep a connection going. I know this limits me even more, however, I do not want to begin something that I feel I couldn't give the full attention it deserved.
