There are two types of orders (or instructions, or directions, or commands, or whatever you choose to call them).  There are standing orders, like the Master for whom i changed my deodorant, or the Mistress to whom i report every morning and every afternoon, and there are event-based orders, like take off your clothes and crawl across the room holding My crop in your teeth.  Personally, i need both.  i need the standing orders to remind me, every day, sometimes every hour, that i am a slave, and i am available to those above me.  i need event-based orders, but i need someone who will understand that my scene time is limited, and that i need to build up to it.  i need someone who understands that and is willing to give me standing orders as well as scene-based orders... and be willing to wait for event-based orders until i have time to devote to them.
