I pride myself on being a great many things; intelligent, silly, random, dorky, passionate, and creative at any given time. I am a very easy-going person, I don't generally upset easily and I try to keep an open mind through my every day life. I am an eternal optimist, and through that I make sure that even in the worst of times the people I care about can smile. I enjoy learning new things immensely and I try to keep my life relatively active. In the last few years of my life I have become much more secure and confident in who I am, but I also acknowledge that I am constantly growing and learning and am not sure what I seek. That is part of the search though isn't it.

I have been both submissive and dominant in past relationships. Though I suppose I would technically be a switch, I do not generally like to "switch" in an active relationship. Depending on the woman I am with I am either dominant or submissive. It is however, a gift that I give through trust and growing with a person. I am here looking for friends, to get myself into the community and learn more about it and myself. I am not actively seeking a relationship but you never know.

I am an artist, and I try to see beauty in the things around me; everything from painting and sculpture to movies, music and video games. I just always find it incredible how people can express themselves, express a story or an idea in so many ways. I enjoy traveling when I'm able and seeing new places, new experiences.

My closest friends would probably say that I am "the nice guy" of the group lol. Indeed I seem to be the guy that EVERYONE feels comfortable talking with. That doesn't bother me in the least but I have heard the cliched line "why can't I find someone more like you" more times than I care to recount lol. Joking aside I am a very friendly man and try my best to make sure those around me are happy and am glad that many people I meet warm to me quickly. I believe a good sense of humor is important in any relationship and I am happy when I can make others laugh. I am confident in who I am though and am both decisive and spontaneous. I would like to think that I am fairly intelligent, but I differentiate that from being knowledgeable and think that by keeping an open mind and being willing to learn new things makes one intelligent. I don't entertain bigotry and the harm it can spread at times. But outside of all of that I am a dork, and I have my flaws and quarks but I like to think that its the accepting of ones quarks and flaws that allows people to truly become close, embracing our differences because what makes us an individual is what makes us great.

As far as interests go I'm fairly varied in what I like. I can get my dork and nerd on and enjoy playing video games, card games with friends, comic books. I enjoy music, though really who doesn't? Movies and reading as well. I love to go out dancing, hiking or just doing something outdoors period lol, and to the occasional party. Spending time with my friends and family, which is important to me. I also enjoy drawing and painting as well as playing music when I have the time.
