i have stuff everywhere, but a relief to be all in one place. Today it's back to work. Same company, different location. It's a nice feeling to feel more at home than i did before. Now to get my home organized!!!! |

i've been in my apartment for about 2 months now. It's been an uphill battle as i was still in a wheel chair when i moved. The friends i was staying with helped move some of my things to the apartment, but then just over a week later, i paid a mover to move all the remaining things from storage for me. How overwhelming to be in a w/c with my broken ankle, staring at a stack of close to 50 boxes as well as my furniture. A few days after i arrived to the apartment, i had a mishap trying to go up a slight incline with my wheelchair ... my sister came and took my little dog home for a time. She wanted me to go with her, but i new i needed to stay and work on my apartment. Thank goodness for the company of my singing canary. i frequently did too much occasionally standing with my cast when i shouldn't . . . all in all, i've been back to work for a month, my cast has been off for alittle longer than that. i've gotten my apartment settled by myself, my ankle is better, still with some days better than others. i try to do my best and keep plugging along. . . . . and now again to feel knocked down when i was again deceived by one calling hisself dom. people just don't think about how they can hurt. |
