What is the greatest desire of a Dominant?
Control? Perhaps, control is very important, it defines much of what we do, but it should not the motive for actions.
Power? Power, closely linked to control is equally important. Power is something that every Dominant hungers for, and it is a search for power that motivates Us, that drives Us forward, that defines Us. However, pure pursuit of power? Very dangerous?
Inflicting pain, physically or mentally? Now there are some who call themselves Doms who are out there that are in it simply to cause pain. Personally, I'd prefer to just call them assholes. Does that mean I shy away from causing physical or mental pain? Of course not, but it should be a means, not an end.
I could list other factors that go into my being a Dominant, but I'll cut to the chase... what draws me to Dominance is the trust, the connection. Its pushing hard enough on your limits to move them but gently enough so that you aren't quite sure of the changes inside of yourself until you're begging for the very thing you were so scared of. Its taking exactly what I want from you regardless of what you say but having you know full well that you want everything I give you.
What am I looking for?
