I just did approximately 40 minutes of a meditation I have recently been trying, it's not new, but just new to me.  Having become more involved in meditation over the last year in particular, I have found I usually get the most out of guided meditation, especially with either some music or other nature sounds in the background, and have found I can get fairly deep.  I was curious though about this "brain sync" or "entrainment" and lots of other names used for it, that claims to allow even deeper meditation and more quickly.  I tried some free samples off various sites, etc. and was actually surprised that it does seem to have an affect on me.  This was the longest time I tried using it, and what I found - either disturbing or interesting, not sure which at this point - was that as I was really going deep, I kept visualizing being flogged or whipped.  This caused me to wonder if anyone has tried combining these two things, this type of brain sync sounds along with the physical and emotional sensations of a heavy play?  I think that sounds like it would be a fascinating combination, for those who are into the mental aspect, and especially since I have found subspace to be almost a spiritual experience.  I also find myself craving more of this.....like I didn't want to come out of it and wanted to just play the mp3 over and over....
