About GroupAustinTNG
TNG stands for The Next Generation and is a chain of groups nationwide for young adults interested in BDSM. The Central Texas chapter is based in Austin and was founded in 2000--it is one of the oldest TNG chapters in the country.
The average age of most BDSM groups can leave a younger person feeling out of place when first coming to such groups. The purpose of TNG is to allow younger persons a support group where they can interact with peers. The purpose of TNG is not to be isolationists but to allow an entry way into the larger BDSM community. Most active TNG members are active in other Austin area BDSM groups.
The Austin chapter serves persons aged 18-35 and provides social and educational activities via list discussions and monthly meetings (discussions and/or demos). In addition, there are parties and informal social outtings. Our social activities have included outtings to fetish nights, road trips to BDSM events, BDSM movie night, and BDSM pictionary. We are here to provide each other a forum where we can talk to, learn from and meet for friendship and support others in our generation with whom we share an interest in BDSM. Our goal is to have fun, share experiences, and to grow our knowledge and perspective.
We meet on the THIRD FRIDAY of each month excepting special circumstances. An announcement confirming the time and place of each meeting is made on the group list. You can either search for central_ texas-TNG on yahoo groups or email here to receive the link to our yahoo group.
