Although I do impart some aspects of Gorean philosophy into my everyday life. Strength, Honor, Pride....
I am well aware that much of what is known as Gorean cannot be applied to life as we know it, nor should it be. We as men cant continue to perpetuate the myth that gender equality is even a possibility much less a goal worth achieving. Physical differences alone make those two words false. Instead its our fear of being thought of as a Politically Incorrect people that keeps us from celebrating the differences
in a positive supportive nature which in turn would allow us to put everyones strengths to better use. No not equal but was it ever intended to be?

As a Man/Master I gladly go to great lengths to ensure her mental and physical well being. Guidance support,discipline are all means to an end. Happiness. She is happiest when I am pleased as it should be but I cant deny what effect her smile has on me. So i regularly go out of my way to ensure she has good reason to? smile. Do I have to? Nope but All in all I think its a very small price to pay for all that is so eagerly given. Without which, life would be far less satisfying on many levels.(whether she knows it or not We as Men cant forget)

HONOR

Honor is important to Goreans, in a way that those of Earth might find it hard to understand; for example, those of Earth find it natural that men should go to war over matters of gold and riches, but not honor; the Gorean, contrariwise, is more willing to submit matters of honor to the adjudication of steel than he is matters of riches and gold; there is a simple explanation for this; honor is more important to him.
