I am naturally dominant, I was born this way. My dominance is not an "act" I put on like an outfit. There was a time in my life when I used to pray for it to go away, like it were an affliction. High school was hard. Society, and especially school yards, are governed by an unwritten law called the "herd mentality", and it is not a welcoming place for a girl like me.

The herd mentality compels dominant males to attack dominant Females. To try and "take" their power away, add to their own, and maintain their perceived power over the heard. Male Dominance, and Female Submission, in all forms, makes me very uneasy; and I feel compelled to correct it.

In my early twenties, while struggling to find a place for myself in the vanilla world, I happened to meet a man in an alley who would change my life forever!

My best friend and I were leaving a club one night, drunk, laughing, and looking GOOD in our skirts and heels. We were walking to our car, parked in the alley behind the club, when a guy who was also getting into his car asked uneasily if we would do him a favor. He was just your typical looking guy. I thought his car had stalled, and maybe he wanted a ride. But he hems and haws for a minute, and then finally asks us, point blank, if we’ll kick him in the balls. I looked over at my friend, who’s mouth had dropped open, then looked back at him, and said “Hell, Yeah!”. So he turned around, puts his hands on the hood of his car and spread his legs.

Without even thinking about it, I backed up a few steps, took a little run at him, and “BAAAAM”!!! I nailed him SO HARD in the balls that he lost his breath and just crumpled. It was literally, the thrill of my life. (I’m getting chills just writing about it now.) And it was an epiphany. There WAS a place for me after all, and guys who WOULD like me. And it’s funny to think about it now, but that same year, for halloween, I dressed as a Dominatrix. I really had no idea what a Dominatrix was, I just knew that when I went into that halloween shop, I HAD to have the BOOTS and the WHIP!
