SEDUCE THE MIND & THE BODY WILL FOLLOW. Without ithe mind you’ve nothing. The psychological dynamics of D/s arouses me. The desire to explore the wonder of surrendering to pure emotion seduces me. I am very tactile, sensual and scent-ual by nature, and love to explore how that may be used to enhance our pleasure.

As a child, I learned emotional control and vigilant situational awareness were crucial to ensuring my safety. Those lessons long prevented me from embracing my sexuality and to a large degree still do. An artist’s heart taught to deny and distrust it’s own primal needs and emotions.

Accomplishing that mournful task brought to life an inner guardian or protector. I call her my ‘Thinker.’ The Thinker is cold, calculating, satirical intellectuality at it’s finest. Words, the first weapon of choice and a last bastion of defense. When the artist feels vulnerable, threatened or hurt, the Thinker comes seemingly out nowhere to protect her. She comes hurling carefully weighted words specific to the intended target to push them away or keep them at arms length. Moreover, she prevents complete surrender and abandonment to emotion.

Alas, she wields a double edged sword. Her sword and wall of words protect but also condemn the artist to loneliness. Still I long for the beauty of surrender. Let me stretch my soul to fit my lover’s grasp so together we soar on the winds of ecstatic sexual release. Give me the confidence of knowing the hand holding mine will never release me into the abyss but always keep me safe and gently guide me home to his arms and back to corporeality.
