About Galatian
Who I am is hard to describe in this short space. I'm usually quiet and reserved with people that I don't know, preferring to observe how others are before letting them know who I am. Once I get to know you it's a different story.
I value trust, loyalty and communication above everything else, which is why it takes time to consider people friends. I like taking care of people, my friends and family, but on my terms. Once I understand people I tend to take control of their affairs and push them in the directions that I see they need to go.
I'm very cerebral. I approach all problems (mine and others) with a problem-solving mindset and tend to take control of the problem until I find a solution. I can be very stubborn and single minded once my mind is made up.
I value change and personal growth. While I have very strong opinions, I'm always ready to argue about them and change those convictions if I find something makes more sense.
As far as my likes/dislikes, I'm tend to pursue the quiet activities. I like reading a lot, computers and video games, movies and tv. I like the outdoors too. Not a year goes by without camping at least twice. I used to go snowboarding every year before I torn my knee. I'm recovering now, and I would like to take it up again (maybe next season). I love the beach, which is why I love LA, and you can find me there whenever the weather is nice. I like going out, although I prefer the bar scene rather than the club scene, as I'm not a particularly good dancer.
I work for a school doing their computers and networks, and am one of those lucky people who truly enjoys what they do. I love education and I used to be a teacher for at-risk youth, but I love building and making things with technology, so I joined the two together. I'm not a workaholic though; I keep my work life and personal life separate and try to find a balance between them. |
