In recent years I have spent a lot of time with women who have found themselves at a crossroads. Like you they had each developed successful careers, but they were confused in a world that appeared to offer them the chance to do anything they wanted with their lives, often without any sense of boundaries. The common problem they had was that whatever they achieved it never seemed enough and they felt lost (their words, not mine).
In each case, as the relationship evolved it became evident that they wanted a firm but protective man to provide a framework for their private lives. To varying degrees they responded to a strong male who supported and cared for them, but who set the rules. There were various methods employed, but the most effective and the one I enjoyed involved physical punishment. |
