Something that has recently crossed my mind is the sentence, or some variation of: 

You must prove yourself worthy to earn my respect. 

I personally prefer the words: 

My respect will be given, until you prove yourself not worthy of it.

Dr. Lecter: First principles, Clarice. Read Marcus Aurelius. Of each particular thing, ask: What is it in itself? What is its nature? What does he do, this man you seek?
Clarice: He kills women.
Dr. Lecter: No, that is incidental. What is the first and principal thing he does, what needs does he serve by killing?
Clarice: Anger, social resentment, sexual frustration ?
Dr. Lecter: No, he covets. That's his nature. And how do we begin to covet, Clarice? Do we seek out things to covet? Make an effort to answer, now.
Clarice: No. We just ?
Dr. Lecter: No. We begin by coveting what we see every day. Don't you feel eyes moving over your body, Clarice? And don't your eyes seek out the things you want?

They are Ladies.  Note the clothes they wear, how they sit, how they speak, their mannerisms.  All of these things which shout to the world, I am a Lady.

That is you, and it is you that I covet.  To dress you up, to teach you how to sit, how to speak, how to eat, all those things which transform a woman into a Lady.  Untouchable by ALL except one, me.

When I touch you, my Lady will undergo a transformation, into a wanton tramp whose needs and desires would shock those that looked at her and thought her a Goddess.

How low can you fall?
