The man I seek knows that life is full of unexpected twists and turns so to make the most of the adventures and moments of joy while we can. He understands that pain is inevitable, and that everything we choose to do in life is hard, even the choice not to do anything. Because of this, he makes choices that align with his values knowing that if everything is going to be hard then we may as well pick the things we’re passionate and connected to the most. At least that way we can create joy along the way.


He is a kind soul, with a little bit of evil. He likes to play with the woman he is with, challenge her, and push her into areas she didn’t even know that she could venture. All the while holding her hand and making sure she knows that he has her, that he wants her, and that he admires her in full, her fire and her softness. He is driven, curious, adventurous and tempered with a type of wisdom that leaves her speechless. He brings out the best in her, and allows her to bring out the best in him.

I’d open my body to him, with desire to see him train, push and take it. I’d open my mind to him, with hope he would enjoy exploring, feeding and shaping it. And I would open my heart to him, in devotion, servitude and willful surrender to his guiding and loving hands. I would strive to make him smile with sweet kisses and gestures of warmth, make him laugh with heart and delight as he is pushed to use his wit and creative outputs, and give him room to unfold, to feel the quiet ache of being understood, and the unexpected relief of being cared for without having to ask.
