I've been told that my style outside of the bedroom tends towards a threatening or menacing mental style, ie I use my voice a lot and give commands that I expect to be followed because it is the submissive's role to serve me. Inside the bedroom I get a lot more physical and tend to *take* what I want rather than commanding. When I do speak inside the bedroom it's with an air of 'you will do this or I will *make* you do it'. I'm generally very sex positive and willing to at least *try* most things.
I take safety and consent extremely seriously. I err on the side of caution until I can become more comfortable with a partner - both to learn their limits and to know that they know their limits and can be trusted to speak up if they're reached. When it comes to pain the goal is to have some fun not to permanently maim. I would ver seriously hurt someone that trusted me in that way.
I do have some interest in trying an 'outside the bedroom' D/s relationship but that's something that would come down the road after getting to know someone as an equal first. If we can't work as equals then we probably wouldn't work otherwise. I place a very high value on integrity, honesty and open communication. I try to treat others how they want to be treated. I try to say what I mean and mean what I say. I don't always live up to these goals because they're just that - goal that I strive to live up to.
Outside of kink my interests include history, anything geeky, video games, technology and rock climbing. Unfortunately there don't see to be a whole lot of rocks to climb in Florida but I make due. Being able to have a friendship outside of kink is important to me. I also go to a certain convention in Atlanta every year - it may or may not be the one you're thinking of.
I'm not opposed to casual sex or friends with benefits type arrangements that's not really what I seek. I'm more interested in something longer term with the right person.
I'm also pretty much always interested in having intelligent conversations, about kink or otherwise. |
