Today begins my week long fast.

I can list a million reasons why I am doing this, but they all come down to one thing: betterment of myself. An excercise in restriction and pain tolerance, but also ridding myself of impurities.

I once had a Mistress who had me fast for two weeks. I remember the pain, the discomfort I felt, almost intolerable. At first I felt weak, shaky, sick, But after 5 days... I tapped into a dormant energy reserve, and unbridled creativity was unleashed. Oh, my Mistress was so proud of me! I entertained her with poems and songs and silly little stories I wrote.
