About Eradre
Through the experiences I've had with two submissives so far I've come to realize that being this way has been a part of me all my life. I've always had a desire to lead others, to be in command of a situation, and this has manifested itself from trivial things to major ones like my past dedication to volunteer activities.
I've been exploring D/s because I enjoy guiding others, exploring dreams, desires or fantasies someone might have always been curious about, or want more of, but have been afraid to ask. In both my public and private life I enjoy leading others, helping them on their path in life any way I can. I tend to be the caring Dom type, rather than a callous taskmaster. Building up self-respect and self-confidence in my friend or partner, the capability to have pride in being submissive. I'm deeply empathetic, which can both be a boon and a curse. I'm patient, yet set high standards and expectations, and expect a submissive to be capable of taking the initiative after giving them guidance, whether the guidance is friendly in nature or intimate. I'm not looking for limp fishes who are unable or unwilling to look for and expand upon ways to strengthen themselves as a person and submissive.
In terms of kinks, I feel I'm drawn most to the power exchange between Top and bottom, body worship, and caring discipline. I don't wish to explore SM yet, however - spanks or paddling are the furthest I will go.
I've been learning about the D/s side of life for several years, and have met several people who tend to be submissive, yet have not found the right person yet to take things into a truly strong relationship. I'm assertive by nature, and the desire to be in a relationship with empathy, and a firm hand, feels a natural part of me since childhood without having recognized it at the time. I like those who realize that any relationship is not one-way; open communication and information both ways leads to a more productive and satisfying experience.
I've also been searching for ways to find out more about lifestyle communities, groups, and activities in the DFW area. I've attended a few get-togethers here with the DFWalt group and enjoyed it a lot, finding it surprisingly comfortable to be there, nervousness gone after arriving and settling in. I'd like to meet more groups, and also individuals as well.
These are all just words, however, and such things as emotion and desires lose some of their meaning when expressed in words, much less without body language or tone of voice, so take it all with a grain of salt. |
