SHADOW IN THE DARKNESS
J.C. Ray 2004
Tossing and turning; unable to sleep;
dancing visions of the night.
She sees an alley, very dark and bleak.
The alley sets her body on fire; makes her weak. She feels submissive.
It intrigues her… so the girl walks down this path of darkness…
She cannot see the ground as her heals click on the pavement.
Why does she come to this place?
And she continues to walk.
Her body trembling, hand shaking …
Is that a shadow of a Man she sees lurking at the end of the alley?
Or is that just a fantasy fear playing tricks with her psyche?
It’s so very dark here in this place of unfamiliarity; heart races.
Girl needs protection from the darkness yet craves His presence.
She needs this Man, who lurks in the dark, to lead her into the light.
Reaching out toward the figure; He quickly retrieves.
He terrifies her; quickly, she begins to run to what’s familiar.
Still unable to see or feel the ground beneath her feet; she continues to run faster, faster!
Then suddenly, she hears Him call out to her
“little one come to Me.” she turns to see the shadow of a Man .
His presence, ominous, dominant and surreal, frightens the girl;
His unspoken words command her to stay as He draws her close.
Heart beating rapidly now, He says to her, “don’t be afraid”
Does she dare follow down the dark path to where she’s never been?
With legs trembling, she follows Him, in full abandon.
“who are You?” she asks … “I am your Master; you my submissive”
“you will no longer fear the darkness for I am here to protect you.”
She feels safe in His presence, sheltered from harm.
Although she cannot see His face, His heart speaks to her.
Suddenly He reaches out and takes her into His arms…
Wrapping His hands up in her hair, He draws her close.
“you know you want me, don’t you, girl?” Her throat tightens.
under His spell, out of control; she is overcome with submissiveness
Softly, she speaks, “yes, Master, I do … take me.”
Kissing her like no Man has ever, He sets her body on fire.
She feels Him grow hard as He presses His body against hers.
She pulls away uncertain of His presence; uncertain of His demands
He has captured her soul and spoken to her heart.
She wants to feel Him inside her; having His way with her.
She does not know why she comes to this place.
Does she not know it’s dangerous here?
His voice is compelling; His touch sets her ablaze.
She needs to feel complete by Him and she knows this for sure.
she gives herself in full abandonment….
“take me, Master, for I am Yours.”
