I've had profiles on various sites for several years, primarily looking for play. I've been reasonably successful in my search, having met some very interesting people and having enjoyed/endured some wonderfully hot playtime, mostly with Pro-Dommes.

Unfortunately, however, many of my encounters haven't been especially satisfying. The eroticism and the intensity just haven't been there. What's been absent, of course, is the other piece of the puzzle--a real relationship born of trust, honesty and a true desire to fulfill one another's needs.

A number of years ago I had that and frankly I miss it. I’m now ready to begin a new search, this time for a soulmate. I’m particularly attracted to smart, strong, articulate women, the kind of women who often intimidate men. Since in everyday life I’m not what you’d call submissive, I actually consider such women intellectually challenging and, in a word, fun to be with.

Sexual compatibility is naturally quite important; if it weren’t, I’d have placed my profile on eHarmony :) Accordingly, I’d like to meet someone who is fairly experienced in the lifestyle, who can be sexually dominant and who sometimes exhibits a decidedly sadistic streak.

You see, when aroused I sometimes experience intense masochistic cravings that allow a clever Domme to effortlessly manipulate me into wantonly and agonizingly suffering for her. On the other hand, there are occasions when I thoroughly enjoy topping and using a woman for my carnal pleasure. When I do, my approach is typically one of quiet dominance laced with intense torment. Go figure; how we're wired can be a mystery. :)

Of course, playtime isn’t everything. Life has a way of intruding--and it’s really hard to negotiate the aisles at Wal-Mart while wearing a Humbler. :) Therefore, I'd very much like a relationship wherein on a daily basis one another as equals but at certain times and in certain venues, things get interesting.
