Humor, you know sometimes we get a little too wound up in our roles and take ourselves a might too serious. Both Top and bottom can be prone to this on sites like this. Can you imagine a life where you don't laugh? That doesn't sound like much of a life at all. Humor is one of the more underrated qualities in the D/s community. I don't know about y'all but even sometimes in a session a bit of humor feels good. Especially in a 24/7 life where almost every moment is part of an extended long running session, especially then humor is important. One of the best BDSM works I've ever read was "Screw the roses, send me the thorns". The author mixed a great deal of humor in with her writing which made for a very enjoyable read. We have our kinks, and some of us really know how to KINK :) But we are human beings and a huge part of being human is to view the absurdity of the world, the absurdity we sometimes build in ourselves and let out a good laugh if for no other reason the recognition of such. It's good for the soul, good for the body and good for you. Anybody who doesn't think that God doesn't has a sense of humor has never shopped at KMart :) If he has one I think you can safely assume it is not below one's dignity to have one also. I am a Master/Dom and just because I will make you laugh at times don't mean I'm not going to tie you up and have me evil way with you :) |
