What is it with people not answering an email. At all. Not any kind of polite reply, just leave the thing unanswered. Ignore the follow-up email too. Who is teaching these girls manners these days? I've tried writing a lengthy letter to someone, focusing on the things they mention in their profile, tying it back to experiences I've had in that particular area. And then I see "Deleted Unread"

So after wasting hours and hours doing that to numerous people, I tried writing a short one-liner, just to see if the recipient would at least acknowledge that, before I waste my time trying to engage in coversation. Oh they read it, and then it just goes unanswered.

Girls, common civility demands that you at least answer the messages you get. If only to say "thanks but I looked at your photo and I could never submit to a man who has a mustache". If you are getting too many messages to handle, then you need to be more specific in your profile, so that we don't have to take a shotgun approach to our first message to you.
