About derFauster
Do you know the story of FAUST? The simple version tells a tale of the man who, bored and disillusioned contemplates taking his own life. Doctor Faustus (Faust) enjoyed an unquinchable thirst for knowledge. God had taken a liking to Faust and noted that Faust was a man of honesty and integrity. The devil sought to tempt Faust away from rightousness and made a pact with Faust to serve him on earth, to facilitate his pursuits of knowledge, alchemy, etc with the caveat that at that one moment when Faust experienced pure bliss, he would die and the devil would win his soul in hell for all eternty. In the end, Faust obtains redemption from God, retains his soul and after living a long and adventerous life, filled with debauchery, magic, sex, drugs and Mozart (sorry no rock n roll in the day) passes on to heaven by special invitation. Yes there ARE other less palletable versions of Faust, where he does not end up as well, but since it's my profile, I get to choose Goethe's Faust over Marlowe's. I get to make the distinction of which Doctor Faustus, I identify with and although I want the life filled with the eternal pursuit of knowledge, the freedom to chase my leacherous intents and catch them, the ability to find new and interesting ways through wonderous toys and tricks to corrupt and please members of the opposite sex, it is important to me to believe that in the end, I am not to expect an eternity in hell but rather a last second devine intervention and commutation of my sentence. If you are still here please, don't stop now, indulge your thirst for knowledge and read on: ABOUT ME: I am a DOM but probably not like any you have previouly met. I believe submission is a gift freely given to One who is worthy in the eyes of the giver. I am a Daddy at heart and therefore caring and nurturing, and I understand the importance of a safe place for a little girl to freely express herself and play. Like any good parent however, I understand the need to have and to enforce strict and well defined rules regarding behaviour. I disagree that someone who acts out for attention should be rewarded with spankings or floggings if that is what they enjoy. Far better to use time outs or corner times to encourage positive behaviour so that the time spent bent over Daddy's knee remains the privilege it is intended to be. Strict - yes, loving - absolutely, willing to sacrifice and attempt to fit the square peg in the round hole - never. If these things resonate with you really, if you are authetic and can not deny your inner child, then perhaps we can speak further. I am NOT interested in cyber anything nor do I believe that a relationship can be sustained over great distances. I do NOT tolerate substance abuse. If you need to use - please respect the fact that I have suffered far too many losses of great loves and friends to watch someone else I care about slowly take their own life. I will not kiss an ash tray, Daddy's little girl will have more self respect than that. I am a serious advocate of this lifestyle and if you are not serious about your place in it, PLEASE do us both a favor and move along. I am NOT a service Dom. I will read your body like a roadmap and follow its signals to both of our mutual pleasure. I am not looking for someone who desires to Top from the Bottom but the occasional need to prove myself worthy of your submission through total power exchange is certainly not something I would shy away from. I understand that everything is a test and I don't intend to fail. We MAY meet and in so doing, decide whether or not we may be compatible in our wants and needs. Please do not be offended if I pass and I will not be if you do. This is a lifestyle and I believe that LIFE is the more operative part of the word. Life is for living and spending it unhappy because of poor choices is not living. Not everyone is compatible with everyone else. Why not be honest and say, "no thank you?" If you were at a party and someone offered you a dish that you knew you didn't enjoy, you would be polite and pass. Feel free to do the same here. I am articulate, busy and serious - I treasure integrity and ask that you do the same. I am D/D Free and expect and demand the same in return. I am extremely intuitive - Please do not make the mistake of thinking I will not be able to read you - I can, I do, I will. "The knowledge I required was borne of the seed of adversity." "It is the journey that defines us - dare to take the road less traveled." My Ideal Person: I am looking for HONESTY and INTGRITY. The RIGHT submissive will understand the value a submissive has to offer and cherish that gift as much as I do. She will know the inner child she is and yearn to be Daddy's Little Girl. She will understand that she is the only child I want or need in my life. She should be one who wants to please and be taken to those places that generally reside in the deepest darkest recesses of the human mind. She should crave the sting of a strong hand on your ass and know that those same large fingers will almost certainly enter her and bring her to the brink repeatedly before allowing her the release she longs for. She will yearn for the simple approval of sitting at Daddy's feet with His fingers running through her hair and the excitement of waiting with baited breath for the inevitable yank that MUST follow.
I WILL PLAY WITH YOUR MIND - Expect it, believe it - I KNOW that the mind is the most powerful sex organ and I will take you there. I am not looking for drama. Drama is a class in High School and if you are here - you should be well beyond that. Please check your baggage at the door in exchange, I will bring the impliments required to engage your body, mind and soul. Faust |

Community and Responsibility
Do you have a sense that you belong to the "lifestyle" community? If your answer is yes, than do you feel that as a "member" of that community, you have a responsibility to act appropriately and to ensure that your actions do not bring discredit to our lifestyle?
I have, as of late, witnessed some acts by "members" of our community that have left me disheartend and angry. We all know that not every relationship we wish for in our lives is healthy or perfect and every now and again, relationships end. Lord Dan passed from our lives recently and he was a shining example of a positive member of our society who took his actions and the reprocussions thereof extremely seriously. He knew that others were watching him always and that everything he said and did, reflected on OUR LIFESTYLE.
Others, althuogh empassioned, hurt and even justifiably angry that someone has passed from them, have sunk to levels that can, have and will fuel the fires of those who sit in judgment of our chosen paths. Airing differences is something that all of us do. Where and how we do so, makes all of the difference in the world, OUR WORLD.
I am venting here but that is different than if I were to take out a full page ad in the L.A. Times and smear someones face all over it with a caption that claims they are a child molester, rapist or mass murderer. Yes, telling the TRUTH can be a defense against liable, slander or defamation of character but that only works IF it is true.
Even so, isn't it important to note that in these days, nothing is ever truly deleated from the internet? Shouldn't we consider that filing something that is not "the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth" in a document of permanent record, may be harmful or damning to our community? Don't we have a responsibility to consider the import and long term ramifications of doing so. If you cry wolf loud and long enough, people will become desensitized to the cries and, when you need help, you may be ignored. Worse still, your cries could hurt the chances of someone else who is truly in distress of getting assistance.
I work within the system and it isn't perfect. In fact, most of the time I am pretty disinfranchised with it, but I believe that it is the best system we have. I see it getting used and abused every day by people who wish to poison the pool against their ex's or make sure the world hears their side of the story.
Yes, you have that right, but with your rights, come great responsibilities to ensure that you are fair and just in the way you report to the community and the world that you were hurt. WE, "lifestylers" are fighting a war every day to keep our freedom to play and to keep that freedom, sacred. When someone says that they were abused and violated in one statement and say and do a host of things that would prove that statement to be lss than accurate, they are not only hurting the person they are accusing, but stealing the credibility of each and every one of us who strive to play within the guidelines and are instilling a mindset in the the uninformed that they were right, we are all wacko's and wierdo's who get our kicks hurting others.
If this pushes your buttons and makes you take offense - feel free to invoke your God given right to challenge the statements, understand that I did not create the story playing in your head that caused you to react the way you did to my version of the truth nor that made you take acception, I simply stated my opinion that WE ALL need to consider how our selfish acts will impact the rest of the community to which we profess to want to belong.

The edge is transient I told you.
You looked back quizically and I bade you approach as I stood there looking over it into the vast abyss beyond.
You hesitated. I spoke more firmly but with a calm that stilled you. "Pet, come to the edge." I knew you were afraid, it was somewhere you had never been. As you hesitated, I spoke. "you told me that you trust me. Was that a lie?"
You understood at last and willed yourself to crawl to where I waited. As you felt my fingers closing around your airway, you gasped only once and then allowed yourself to feel the edge. Your pussy betrayed you as my free fingers enetered you more forcefully than you could recall and my thumb played with your now engorged clit.
As I released my fingers from your throat and thrust deeper inside you, you began to gasp only to be met with the a kiss you had never known before.
you came.
As the quivering subsided, you began to regain your focus and as your eyes opened you realized that edge had moved.

"A Different Christmas Poem" The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light, I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight. My wife was asleep, her head on my chest, My daughter beside me, angelic in rest. Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white, Transforming the yard to a winter delight. The sparkling lights in the tree I believe, Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve. My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep, Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep. In perfect contentment, or so it would seem, So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream. The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near, But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear. Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know, Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow. My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear, And I crept to the door just to see who was near. Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night, A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight. A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old, Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold. Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled, Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child. "What are you doing?" I asked without fear, "Come in this moment, it's freezing out here! Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve, You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!" For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift, Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts.. To the window that danced with a warm fire's light Then he sighed and he said "Its really all right, I'm out here by choice. I'm here every night." "It's my duty to stand at the front of the line, That separates you from the darkest of times. No one had to ask or beg or implore me, I'm proud to stand here like my fathers before me. My Gramps died at ' Pearl on a day in December," Then he sighed, "That's a Christmas 'Gram always remembers." My dad stood his watch in the jungles of ' Nam ', And now it is my turn and so, here I am. I've not seen my own son in more than a while, But my wife sends me pictures, he's sure got her smile. Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag, The red, white, and blue... an American flag. I can live through the cold and the being alone, Away from my family, my house and my home. I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet, I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat. I can carry the weight of killing another, Or lay down my life with my sister and brother.. Who stand at the front against any and all, To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall." "So go back inside," he said, "harbor no fright, Your family is waiting and I'll be all right." "But isn't there something I can do, at the least, "Give you money," I asked, "or prepare you a feast? It seems all too little for all that you've done, For being away from your wife and your son." Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret, "Just tell us you love us, and never forget. To fight for our rights back at home while we're gone, To stand your own watch, no matter how long. For when we come home, either standing or dead, To know you remember we fought and we bled. Is payment enough, and with that we will trust, That we mattered to you as you mattered to us." |

Wow, do you remember what you were doing 20 years ago exactly? How crazy is it that I can say yes to that question?
I was the Operations Sergeant of the German / American Combined Police Station in West Berlin Germany as The Wall fell. I had been in Berlin previously as a young Private First Class. When we were called out on alert, we used to joke about simply going to the nearest bar and drinking until the Russians came because there was no way out. We laughed at the fact that the Russians simply needed to blow up the runways at the airports and the train tracks and we were all ready prisoners of war.
Although we laughed, it was laughter designed to hide the anxiety of the truth of those words. We also knew that "If not us, then who?" Someone had to be willing to stand guard over the last bastion of freedom 110 kilometers inside communist East Germany. I had been to The Wall and touched it, IT was real. The symbolic icon of The West's refusal to allow democracy to die. We were making a stand for the rights and freedoms of those who could not or would not do so themselves.
I clearly remember walking up to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church on the Kurfustendamm and actually placing my large fingers inside the bullet holes left by the 50 caliber machine guns during the Battle of Berlin. The first time I was there, the top secret installation I worked at had been built upon the rubble piled up after the war. The hill had been named "Teuffelsberg", "Devils Mountain" and the smaller pile next to it was "Schwesterhugel" or "Sister hill". To put it into context, the building was 9 stories and built atop the debris left from the war. The Germans had planted the "Gruenewald", "forest" in rows of trees so that the next time the city was invaded, the tanks would have a more difficult time getting through.
We stayed the course. We guarded Spandau Citadel with the infamous Mr. Hess inside and were ordered to turn our backs to him very time he came out into the courtyard. We patrolled the Wansee, a system of lakes and locks that circled Berlin on seized drug boats with machine guns on the decks. Our mission, to lay down suppressive fire in the event that we saw someone swimming from East Germany towards West Berlin. We "Rode the Rails" meaning that we ensured that the Duty Train left Berlin every night and went safely to Frankfurt before returning because if we missed one night, the Russians would sabotage the tracks.
Imagine that you went to work 60 years and one day ago. Your job, going to a bakery three blocks from your home. You sweat and labor making the dough to become the bread and then, after 12 hours, you wash your hands and don your coat and boots and begin the short walk home. The sun is rising in the east and the air is crisp and clean. You breath in deeply and although exhausted, you smile at the approach of the holiday season and the impending birth of your first child. Suddenly, you are snapped from your day dream by a loud and stern "HALT!". As you look up, a soldier blocks your path and there is a line on the ground. Men are working feverishly to make it "The Wall" and you are told you can not cross. Your life, your wife, your unborn child, your bank and family, church and friends are all less than 100 yards away, and you can not pass.
Fast forward some 40 years nearly to the day later when in grand disbelief, you look at the train loads of Russian troops leaving the City. Not carrying their tanks and weapons and ammunition, but rather, bricks and lumber because they care more about building a shack back in their native land when they get home. There is no pomp or circumstance but, at long last, you see that there is no longer a guard in the gatehouse between you and the life you once knew. You dare to approach albeit cautiously. You have to wonder if it is a trap but a you inch forward, you hear some foreign rock band playing some song about "Another Brick in The Wall" and riotous cheers and people crying and toasting.
Yes, 40 years of determination paid its dividends that day. 20 years ago to the day, I was a Staff Sergeant in the Military Police Corp, stationed in Berlin as The Wall fell. We had completed our mission. We had proven that we were not to be defeated and that our commitment to our cause was unshakable.
Do not test the metal of our beliefs. Do not believe that we will waiver or falter. We are Americans. We have dreams and commitment beyond most peoples capacity to comprehend. We stand in the snow and the rain and the burning sun to ensure that freedom remains for those who want it. We pay the ultimate price and do so willingly so that you and others may go to sleep at night and rest in peace knowing that you are safe.
We keep a watchful eye even when we are sick, or have blisters so bad that we cannot take the next step, but somehow we find the strength and courage to march on because the World needs us. We give our rations to the hungry children that we find along the way and then listen to our own stomachs grumble about the gift we gave. Ironically, we smile because we wouldn't have it any other way.
This holiday season, remember that all gave some and some gave all so that you could sleep in peace tonight. Their children are growing up without them for a minute, a month, a year or a lifetime because they were patriots. They were willing to give what others couldn't or wouldn't to ensure that everyone kept the right to freedom of choice, speech and religion.
Just as every Russian was not a communist, every Muslim is not a terrorist. All terrorists are not Muslim. I stayed the course for my time and passed the baton to my youngest son who now proudly serves as a United States Marine in Afghanistan. He is willing to do what must be done because he was born a Patriot. I did not cause him to be one, I gave him an example of one and he heard the inner voice of freedom refusing to be silenced in his head and heart.
As you sleep soundly tonight, think of him and others like him and give thanks. Understand that for many years before "The Fall of the Berlin Wall" a war raged in Europe where countless patriots paid the ultimate price to deliver freedom to people they had never met. Countless more were wounded and had their lives immeasurably altered by the horrors of war.
Then, at long last after 40 more years of dedication to the cause of freedom, "Mr. Gorbachov tore down that Wall". Do not ask why a Patriot is one, simply give thanks that they exist. Understand that their children didn't choose to have a patriot for a father or mother, brother, sister or aunt or uncle. The children of those serving abroad and those who no longer can return home in the flesh simply want what they cannot have for this holiday season. They want their loved one back.
Many of us understand this Nation's need to stay the course. We may not like it, many do not agree with it, but we know that we must finish a thing once we were committed to it. I say, SEMPER VIGILANTES! Always Vigilant. Let us show the children that they are not forgotten and that although they cannot have their one true wish this year, they can have a respite of joy.
Please, Give a gift to the Toys for Tots program. Take a donation to a food bank, and remember that there are other children and families who ar less fortunate as well and let us not forget them. This country needs to stand for those who cannot rise up without help.
20 Years Ago Today.... No, not Sergeant Pepper, Staff Sergeant Garrison witnessed history. The Wall fell, the world sang praises and I knew why I did what I was doing. Please join me in helping others understand that Freedom isn't Free but it is worth the price so many have paid. Let us give back a little bit. It doesn't have to be much, every 99 cent matchbox car that is donated is one more gift in a stalking or under a tree that some child would not otherwise have had.
"Tis the Season"

Are you that person who cannot sit while others relax? That special someone who needs to ensure that everyone has their needs sated? Do you feel compelled to make certain that everyone is comfortable and content? Are you happiest when you are making others happy? Is service your calling? If so, perhaps we should talk. Before you respond, note that this Daddy has a little girl and she is the apple of his eye. There are other needs that must be met and nothing will happen without full and complete disclosure. There are no secret trists, no clandestined meetings or other possible breaches of trust. Trust is not negotiable so if you are not willing to accept that your role is to serve and please, we shouldn't speak further.
My little girl and I live this life 24 / 7 and we are willing to share ourselfs with the right someone who understands that service at every level is their lot in life.
If however you feel the tug at your 1950's apron string to prepare the house and meals for the Master and his friends, by all means say hello. |

Well, I have certainly had an interesting journey lately. I attended Southwest Leather Conference and since returning, I have been able to be far more honest with myself regarding my inner Daddy Dom-ness, so to speak. Amazingly, when you come to grips with something and admit to yourself what it is you are, what you are looking for really and keep your motives clear, the Universe has a way of giving you exactly what you seek.
In short, I am here to maintain my friendships and stay in touch but I am no longer looking for that special someone. I am fairly certain that I have found, Daddy's little girl and I am committed to seeing where this portion of the journey leads. I was speaking to friends at the munch this evening and related that I had met my little girl and that IF I had sat down and drawn out a list of things that I wanted, needed and wished for, I could not have gotten it more perfect.
That said, I have decided to truly explore life with her and see if the Universe will continue to bless me / us. I have asked and we have agreed to refrain from outside play and to focus on what I believe will be a long and wonderful adventure together.
Be honest with yourself, he or she is out there.

By Definition:
I think that we get entirely too wrapped up in branding one another with titles. Does it cause a reaction when someone who's inner child looks up at me with her impish eyes and calls me Daddy? Certainly, you could call me a Daddy Dom and be somewhat accurate.
At TIMES, I can get a SENSE of pleasure from momentary sensations of pain to another and I snicker at the situation and the effect but although that may be SADISTIC for that moment, I am NOT a Sadist. A TRUE Sadist requires that the pain inflicted is NOT causing the inflictee any edification of pleasure.
I enjoy beyond belief or imagination the bond of trust we must share for you to feel compelled to allow me to bind or restrain you and take you through the range of sensations that I feel directed by your responses to provide. I suppose that that would classify me as a Sensation Dom but really, who cares about names?
If you try to force a name onto someone who is not EXACTLY a fit for that names cookie cutter definition, youare setting them up to fail. Why not simply enjoy being with someone who is being authentic in the moment and share the pleasures sought?
If you force a grape to become a raisin are you not insisting that it shed its outward beauty and semitry to wither and wrinkle?
I think it is wrong to define a thing to intently.

CUM-ing SOON:
I am starting a group in Long Beach. It is in the very beginning stages of its beginnings. The long range plan is to get funding and a location for Societe' de Sade, which I own as my intellectual property. The desire is to build, open, own and operate the private membership dungeon in this area. In that it will be privately owned, I do not haveto worry about leadership by committee and the rules and enforcement thereof will be iron clad.
Why tell you this? Simple. One, I will be approaching select people to be involved from the ground up. Two, there will be the possibility of the doors being open for service Doms / Dommes and subs to work on a pay for play basis during the weekdays and evenings when there are no parties. Three, there may be some opportunity down the road for video productions of scenes. Four, there will be workshops on all manner of the lifestyle from toy design and building to Top and Botom Classes. Lastly, there will, once I know I have the legal issues covered, there will be a need for funding. I have some amazingly creative ideas on making this work including auctions and rentals.
Later in the month I will be establishing a user group to which you will be invited where you will get e-mail up-dates and invitations to planning sessions and meetings. If you are interested, let me know.

THE DOMINO EFFECT:
Have you ever taken the time to consider that EVERYTHING effects EVERYTHING? A lie of ommision is still a lie and even though the truth may set you free it does not free those touched by it through third party contact. If you do not have integrity within yourself and your interpersonal relationships how can you expect others to keep integrity with you?
If you tell a lie, just a little one that seems completely harmless and in the moment, consider this. That lie touches at least the person or people it is told to. It also touches the lives of those who get pulled into the vortex because of their friendship and loyalties.
Without OUTING anyone, simply put, if you lie to someone that I can do the Kevin Bacon - 6 degrees of seperation with, I promise you that it will touch my life like dominos falling in rapid succession and it will almost certainly cause an adverse effect to one or more relationships that I hold dear.
If you are going to lie - warn me. I will distance myself from you and all of the toxic nuclear fallout, hunker down in my bomb shelter and wait until the "All Clear" gets given. I do not want to be involved on any level with the lie, the follow up or the attempts to repair the lives of those damaged by it.
It's your mess - CLEAN IT UP!
I will make you this solomn vow, what I do is my business and who I do it with is as well. I intend to keep it that way so don't ask, I won't tell and you will have no need to pursue. In keeping with that theme - I don't want to know about anyone elses business or dirty laundry. IF I am not beng paid to dig in your trash - I don't want to know what you threw out. Most importantly, if it wasn't your trash to dig in - it isn't yours to own or share.
Check yourself before checking me.
Lastly - if you commit a violation of sociaties standard and accepted rules of engagment - step up and clean that up that mess too.

In days long past a Lord commanded; His servants did as he demanded. His hand was fair his voice not raised; for he knew they wanted his loving praise. A flogging or spanking he gave as earned to those who strove to please him yearned, to gain the momentary pleasure to sense the depths of which he treasured their every try to make him say, "you are my favorite pet today"
To feel the wanton complete desire filling his loins knowing they inspired, him to want and yearn and need to give only her today his seed as a loving reward for all her deeds but first, supine she waits to feed on the swats and stings and tugs of hair that let her know how much he cares. To take his time and make her feel the truth about his sadistic will:
"To be pleased means pleasing and it's a two way street he needs to feel her at his feet at least as much as she to be there. The Lord without her is a waste of air"
