I am somewhat beyond my age and don't consider myself a stand-down submissive,; I give respect when respect is due, but I do not like to be seen as submissive above the fact that i'm human, nor will I be belittled based on age or other statistics. If those I respect most in the lifestyle can treat me with the common decency of considerate adult interactions, you should, too. I lack tolerance for people who spread negativity, who disrespect, who lack concern about the comfort of those around them who are subs because they are subs. I see the various levels of submission, dominance, top and bottom, and only through direct correspondence and with basis to recognize that someone is Dominant above me (or if m'Lord wishes it, of course) will i assume submission.
He challenges me. I recognize His experience and intelligence, i find Him a respectable person, and it all melds into the fact that He is capable, He makes me feel, He is not only by fact Dominant above me, but also by the submission that He compells and my recognition of His worthiness of my respect. The fact that i trust Him and truly feel that He is above me are what make me want to be owned by Him, to give myself fully.
