The coldest it gets here is the mid 50s in winter (just the right temperature for cuddling or...?) Summertime highs of 90 are rare. And if it is too hot we can go to the beach. Is everything here perfect? No. Prices are high, the volcano is spewing vog (probably not a good fit if you have resperatory problems), and it is isolated.Yes, there are many lifestyle activities I enjoy, but it is not my entire life. I am a carpenter, and enjoy my work. I volunteered extensivly repairing houses after a major earthquake here a couple years ago. I go sailing every sunday, and am still in awe of the whales which come in the winter. They have surfaced quite close to the boat many times. As part of my update, I need to say that I am now also a charter sailboat captain. I love my work.Anything else you would like to know, feel free to ask..

Working on my tan, wearing just shorts and slippas. Another beautiful day in Hawaii. The road closing due to snow was real...above the 9000 foot level on Mauna Kea. Anyone want to get out of the cold and snow?? I can think of several ways to get you warmed up.
