About dd1971
I am new to the lifestyle and am very excited about moving forward on the path of becoming the DD/Mentor/Kinkster that I have always naturally felt I was but never knew how to define it until recently. I am naturally an optimist, patient (most of the time), supportive, confident, have a great sense of humor and always enjoy learning something new (preferably useful but somehow I have retained a lot of trivial information), which means I am also naturally a mentoring type.
I have a wide variety of interest non-sexual and sexual; far too many to list here. Besides, learning about someone (via IM, email, telephone and in-person) is a lot more fun than reading everything in a profile bio. And in my mind, having fun is prerequisite for any meaningful task or journey we choose to ourselves to doing.
However, do not mistake my easy going demeanor for being a pushover. I was blessed with having firm solid hands and I have no problems being stern, a disciplinarian, authoritative and establishing rules and limits. Seriously, that's part of the reason why are here and freely choosing this lifestyle. But covering the rules is better suited for later conversations.
I hesitate to say that I am looking for my perfect partner, because by no means am I perfect. I prefer saying that I am looking for best possible match. Being that I am still new to this, I do not have my best possible match completely defined, but I already know some of the things that I do and do not want and what I am open to. I can also say that I am very open minded and non-judgmental, so don't be shy about reaching out to me. I look forward to meeting you. You never know, we could end up being who we are looking for to make our lives complete. |

I came across this saying while reading a journal entry from a member here and thought it very fitting to share since it seems to reflect how I genuinely feel:
'A Master is not just a top to his soumise, but her friend and her lover as well.
