I thought it would be appropriate to put on here what a sub is to me: a sub is someone who serves another in whatever way they desire, not because they are forced to, but because they want to. The pleasure that they are able to give another in return gives the sub pleasure, whether the task be sexual or functional, the sub is content with being useful and able to serve/please.
However, that does not mean that a sub does these things for the benefit of another and that's that. No, the one lucky enough to have a good devoted sub will be in charge of making her grow. Molding her, teaching her, nurturing her, and crafting her, protecting her, and cherishing her. However, probably one of the most important things that a Dom can do for his sub is mold her into something they both want; this can range anywhere from a perfect quaint little housewife, to a cock crazed cum guzzling toy. Whatever the desired result, it is the job of the Dom to make sure his sub is on the right track and to keep her there by whatever means are appropriate.
A sub does have a mind, a sub does have an opinion, these things must be taking into consideration and discussed. If they are suppressed too long the sub will become unhappy, and that unhappiness will eventually affect the Dom. It is important that the two mesh correctly in order to achieve a harmonic balance that allows for this type of dynamic to function, ensuring a lasting relationship.
This is how I view a Dom/sub relationship. Even if it's something that is solely online, this is how the dynamic functions for me. |
