I am intelligent, compassionate, and, above all, honest. I'm reasonably fit and active, and I enjoy being outside in nature and getting some "soul time." I enjoy shows and live appearances. I love museums and libraries, although it has been a while (I blame my Kindle and the Internet...). I can be serious, as the occasion requires, but I love to laugh and use sarcasm regularly. I am looking for someone to share the good (and the bad) that life has to offer, someone I WANT to include in my life. I am moderately experienced in BDSM, although I have known I was Dominant since high school, and all of my relationships have had some BDSM aspects. My relationships over the last 10 years have been solely D/s-based, and vanilla is no longer an option for me. D/s will be the foundation of any future romantic relationship. Still, I am open to discussing exactly what this would mean in day-to-day life (appearing vanilla in public is a must, no matter what). I am not firmly set on any specific dynamic, but I do want more than just D/s in the bedroom.
I firmly believe that communication is vital to any relationship, romantic or not, kinky or not. It continually surprises me how many so-called Doms think barking commands to someone they don't know is acceptable. I am a proud sapiosexual, which means that I am into brains, not in a creepy way, like Night of the Living Dead or Hannibal Lecter, but in a way that makes intelligence almost a fetish of mine. Specific traits I value in a woman and anyone I consider adding to my social circle include honesty, compassion, open-mindedness, and a love for life. Someone who is more happy than sad, open than closed, and outdoorsy than not. Everyone has ups and downs, but I am not looking for a woman who feels she needs a man to "complete" her.
