I
am 19 years old and beginning my second year of college. I am majoring in English and
words are definitely the way to my heart... well, they are at least the
way to my attention :)
I am not actively seeking a relationship
at this time. I feel as though it is more important to continue my
education through my college courses and build a solid foundation for
myself before I move into a serious relationship. I'm not attempting to
discourage anyone who truly wants to speak with me, I am just being
truthful about my intentions.
I am not looking for casual sex,
please do not email me and ask me to meet with you because I will
probably ignore your message - I am respectfully asking you to respect
my wishes. I will not exchange email or IM addresses after one email,
either - I would like to get to know someone a bit more before I
exchange any personal information.
I love music,
coffee, laughing, friends, and good conversations with brilliant
people. I enjoy literature and debates. Cats are my favorite animals -
and I adore caramel apples :)
I am a pretty girl, but I am not a
petite girl. I am attractive, curvy, intelligent and open-minded -
rather appealing, I think.
(& despite how this sounds, not at all full of myself) ;)
I
only mention this because I have gotten emails from men who think that
all women should be a size 6, and are offended if you don't fit that
mold.

I reply to all mail that is polite, and even some that isn't (it amuses me that "True Doms" feel the need to be so rude)... because I respond to all email, please do not send me a message telling me that the "least I can do" is - yadda yadda yadda. I've been getting a lot of mail lately - and that's great, I love mail. I would really, REALLY appreciate it, though, if you would read my profile before you send me mail. If you email me asking if I would be willing to relocate to , when I state in my profile that I'm in college right now and definitely not looking to relocate, I'm just going to email you back and ask you to read my profile. I'm not trying to be a brat, honestly I'm not -- my profile is just there for a reason. Please read it before you ask me a question :-)

Oh goodness ... it seems there are some on here who believe that it is only women who can be submissive, and men who can be dominant. This is not surprising, and I do not mean to say that it is only here that i have seen this viewpoint... I just chuckle everytime I see this particular view expressed. I have spoken with some Dommes who would quickly put this to rest. I have some dear sub boy friends who would beg to differ with the 'women-only sub' standard. And it really bothers me when I see someone who says that 'a true slave has no value...no worth'. That can't be right. It takes both a Master and a slave to make a successful relationship, so surely a slave must have some worth... generalizing the wants/needs of a submissives is a sore spot too. If you've never spoken with me, you certainly don't know what I need, or where I wish to 'relinquish' control, so please don't assume I'm only here because I want a few play sessions. And finally, yes this post was based upon a particular journal entry I came across, so if it doesn't make much sense, that could be why ;-)

Hello everyone,
This is my first day on the site, and I thought I would get my blog started...
I really like this site so far, the layout of everything is really cool :-)
I guess I'll say a little bit about myself. I'm 19 - pretty young, I know. I'm new to the lifestyle and currently in college. I'm trying to learn all I possibly can to keep myself safe.
I've met some really wonderful friends on another site, and I'd love to meet more.
